BETSY WHITNEY

Secretary Betsy Whitney joined the Board of Directors before The Spot on Kirk opened its doors in 2016.  She was a founding member of  Down By Downtown Music and was the very first person to collaborate on the opening of our music venue.

She is the Major Gifts Officer for Carilion Clinic Foundation, which manages the Dr. Robert L.A. Keeley Healing Arts Program.

She also serves on the Roanoke Arts Commission, which advises and assists City Council on matters relating to the advancement of the arts and humanities within the City.
