Farmer Family Band Presents: Songs for the Season

December 18, 2025 7:30 PM

The Farmer Family presents a set of holiday songs, stories, and performances for you to enjoy and bask in the holiday spirit! The set will include familiar holiday favorites as well as a special performance of a radio musical adaptation of "The Gift of the Magi". The Farmer family wishes to thank their friends The Gregory Brothers for sharing their uniquely songified version of The Gift of the Magi, a classic holiday tale about the spirit of giving.

About the performers: Will Farmer is a local musician and songwriter who proudly serves as the Board President at the Spot on Kirk. He is joined by his partner in life and love, Laura B. Farmer, a local mental health therapist, advocate, and Qoya dance teacher. The Farmer's three children are familiar faces in the Roanoke performing arts community as well. Violet Farmer (14) and Autumn Farmer (12) are conservatory students at Mill Mountain Theatre and have enjoyed recent performances in Shrek the Musical, Annie, Finding Nemo Jr., and Elf the Musical. Violet and Autumn are piano players, actresses, and vocalists. Cooper Farmer (7) is shaping up to be a young comedic talent, well-versed in flatulence noises and jokes. He will be assisting with sound effects.
